Hope Mission Home Journey Embarked...

The Hope Mission Children Home Or Rumah Kebajikan Misi Harapan was incepted in December 2008. Since its inception, our home has been crowded with generous hearts who are helping the underprivileged children full heartily in numerous ways. For instance, on terms of foods (groceries, sundry and daily marketing) for the home.

However, the home still needs your assistance and heart to contribute in our monthly operational budget. We have requested for assistance of financial aid from the Social Welfare Department Of Malaysia, which will only be sanctioned by next year, 2010. We have been organizing fund raising activities to raise funds for our home. Even though so, we still need your shoulders for us to lean on.

To ensure the smooth management of the home, we need your assistance and good heart to contribute into our monthly financial budget. The home is currently financed by the Director and also by some contributions by individuals and organizations. However, the financial aid which is given is not compatible for the monthly operational budget.

The monthly operational budget list of our home is posted below here. There is also a pledge form for whoever kind enough to contribute to the operational expenses of the home. Whatever amount kindly state on the pledge form so that we can produce a neat account standing of this home.

May your commitment to contribute to this home bring grace, mercy and wisdom to you and all your close ones. Help all this under privileged children and your pledge will definitely made a lot of difference to these little lives here and may God blessing be with you all.

Thank you
GOD LOVE EACH AND EVERYONE OF US.

Charity Dinner 2009/ Malam Makan Amal 2009

One of our biggest event for the year 2009 was the Charity Dinner 2009. It was held in the month of July. The main aim was to generate funds for the home from the public as well as also from profit and non-profit bodies and also to create publicity for the home.

Besides that the Charity Dinner is also organized to establish and foster good relationship with the government and also the public.

The Charity Dinner was participated by the local kindergardens, KF Line dance, invited dance groups and many others.

The Charity Dinner was done based on the 1 Malaysia concept. The Charity Dinner was officiated by the Deputy Social Welfare department of Perak and was attended by by Hilir Perak Social Welfare Department. It was attended approximately by 1,500 people.

The Charity Dinner which was organized managed to collect RM8,000.00 for the children. The fund collected was used for the monthly operational budget of the home. It was a chance for the Hope Mission Children Welfare Home to make themselves recognize to the public.

Immediate Needs Of The Home

The Home premise is a rental unit, single storey corner house with a small compound.

A small little compound for the children, seen here visitors have some fun with the kids.

The small ones sleeping time!!!

THE GRILLS
It didn't come with grill windows or doors. For safety measure, it's good to install grills for all the windows and doors, also it aired and allowed good ventilation as no the need to closed all the doors and windows at all time.

THE KITCHEN
This kitchen has turned into a dinning room. As the home is cottage like, utilize this room as kitchen is definitely not enough to get around with. Cooking for the 14 children and more to join soon is a task at the moment. For cleanliness, cooking is done outside at the back of the home. We hope and seek kind Samaritans and contributors like you to come forward and help us to put up an extended kitchen for the home.

The dinning table is just not enough to sit all these kids, but the kitchen made dinning place look fine and good.

THE BATHROOM
An additional bathroom is much appreciated by the home. Though bathing can wait now, but we need to be prepared for more children to join the home soon. May your contributions bring more joy to the children.

Wishing to have another very basic bathroom for the home!!!

THE SHELVES
With the numbers of children at various ages, a book shelves is needed to keep their books according to the level of their education.

THE VANS
Every morning, fetching the children to school is a rush as they studied at difference schools and kindergardens. With 14 of them, a van will convenient the home in their errands everyday.

A manageable van is a blessing

Kindness, like a boomerang, always returns.
